S2S Digital - Digital Storytelling Workshps for Squamish Youth

"Digital storytelling begins with the notion that in the not too distant future, sharing  one's story through multiple medium of imagery, text, voice,  sound, music, video and animation will be the principal hobby  of the world's people."

- Joe Lambert, co-founder of the  Center for Digital Story Telling

What's your story?

What does it mean to grow up in the Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada?
Share your story that you’ll create in the S2S Digital storytelling project

Open to Squamish youth ages 14-19

This summer, in conjunction with the Squamish Mountain Festival, four teams of youth (2 or 3 people per team) will be guided in the art of digital storytelling through a series of five workshops conducted by established artists and media professionals.

Workshops will include how to develop the story, the art of video, audio, and editing and distribution.

The results will be screened at the Squamish Mountain Festival opening night, Wednesday, July 16, at the Eagle Eye Theatre and posted on the web.
